It's been almost 3 months since I've done one of these so I figured while I was waiting for my laundry to dry I'd catch up. Quite a bit has happened since April. I had my tonsils removed and was unable to talk or do much of anything for over 2 weeks; the studio I worked at had to do MASSIVE budget cuts so everyone got laid off; the boyfriend is being all jealous and insecure which is just making me mad; and ofcourse Michael Jackson died. On the topic of the last bit of news, yes I'm just as sad and shocked as the rest of the world but seriously. I'd like to be able to turn on the news and actually see what's going on in the world, not just tribute after tribute to him. Yeah I loved his music and I still do (heck my first serious contemporary solo was to 'Man in the Mirror' but please he's dead so let him die because all the coverage is getting a bit ridiculous. Also, I wonder if they'll be paying the same kind of homage to Billy Mays.

Anyways, the reason you guys even watch me I'm pretty sure is for the stories I write so a quick update on those. I really appreciate how so many of you reviewed the last chapter of 'Heavens Light.' One reviewer however suggested I was 'holding my story hostage' which I just want to say is not the case. For the record: the new chapter isn't done yet. I usually post a new chapter within a few hours of it's completion and proofing regardless of how many reviews there are. I said in my notes of the last chapter that I didn't agree with a 'review or no update policy' but I was starting to think it was getting to that point since out of over 400 hits (343 visitors) only 10 people reviewed. I think that's a bit silly personally since it doesn't take more than a couple minutes to review and days to put together a chapter I'm proud to post. That said, I apologize if I came across too cross in the notes of last chapter. I am NOT holding my story hostage for reviews sake, I'm just not done with it yet. Please keep reading everyone, I promise things are about to take an interesting turn.
